Crowley once wrote that there's this sort of "aha!" sensation you get when you hit upon a meaningful gematric relationship. I have yet to experience that with any of the systems that have been proposed.<br /><br />It's also not clear that the string of letters in <i>Liber AL</i> has anything to do with a new system of gematria, though many have taken it that way. Crowley described it as "a test on the regular pattern" and furthermore wrote that Charles Stansfield Jones had solved it, which if true means that it's not particularly relevant to anything going on today. <br /><br /><i>The Key of it All</i> is by David Allen Hulse.
